From American Diorama
Your Diecast Collection Needs People Too
You’ve got the cars. You’ve got the trucks. You’ve spent entirely too much time arranging them at exactly the right angle. But something is missing—people! The LB Nation Figure #5 from Showcasts / American Diorama brings a little life to your 1:18 scale collection with a 3.5-inch male figure dressed casually in shorts and ready to hang around your favorite rides. Add him beside a sports car, muscle car, tuner or garage display and suddenly you’ve gone from “shelf full of diecast” to “carefully constructed automotive scene.” See? Collecting is sophisticated.
And this is how dioramas happen. First you add one figure because the car looks lonely. Then he needs somebody to talk to. Obviously they’ll need a garage. A garage needs tools. Then somebody points out that the parking lot looks empty, so naturally you buy more cars. Perfectly reasonable decisions were made at every stage. That’s our story and we’re sticking to it. The LB Nation Figure #5 is available now at Maulsworld—and remember, we’re absolutely encouraging the behavior.
