Suddenly, a terrible clattering sound echoes through the castle courtyard! CLACK! CLACK! CLACK! The Captain of the Guard rushes to the drawbridge. THE CAPTAIN: “YOUR MAJESTY! THERE APPEARS TO BE A SKELETON AT THE CASTLE GATES!” THE ROMAN CENTURION: “SOLDIERS! FORM RANKS!” THE TEMPLAR KNIGHT: “AN UNDEAD WARRIOR?! STAND READY!” The Viking comes charging out of the Great Hall. THE VIKING: “AT LAST! A WORTHY OPPONENT! LET US DO BATTLE!” THE DOGFATHER: “Will somebody please calm down? It’s Halloween!” 😂 Just then, His Imperial Fluffiness appears on the balcony wearing his tiny crown and an orange Halloween cape. THE EMPEROR: “WHAT IS ALL THIS COMMOTION?! I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF MY FOURTH BREAKFAST!” THE CAPTAIN: “YOUR MAJESTY! AN UNDEAD SKELETAL GUARDIAN HAS APPEARED!” THE EMPEROR: “A SKELETON?! DOES IT EAT TUNA?!” THE DOGFATHER: “I seriously doubt it.” The Emperor’s eyes widen. “A GUARD WHO DOESN’T EAT?! EXCELLENT! THINK OF THE SAVINGS ON EMPLOYEE MEALS!” 😂😂 Queen Cat Mom enters the courtyard wearing her magnificent crown and glamorous heart-shaped sunglasses. HE NEVER EATS, NEVER SLEEPS, AND APPARENTLY NEVER RETIRES!” QUEEN CAT MOM: “How interesting. And have you asked whether he wants the job?” The Emperor pauses. “ASKED?! I AM THE EMPEROR! I SIMPLY ISSUE ROYAL DECREES!” QUEEN CAT MOM: “Yes, dear. And what happens when he asks for a vacation?” THE EMPEROR: “VACATION?! HE’S BEEN RESTING FOR HUNDREDS OF YEARS!” 😂 The Viking approaches the skeletal visitor. “WELCOME, BONE BROTHER! WOULD YOU CARE TO JOIN ME IN A GREAT RAID?!” The Dogfather immediately intervenes. “ABSOLUTELY NOT! WE’VE ALREADY BANNED YOU FROM TOMORROW’S LEESPORT EXPEDITION!” The Viking sighs. “NOBODY APPRECIATES A GOOD PILLAGING ANYMORE.” Queen Cat Mom smiles and points toward the Halloween decorations. “Gentlemen, perhaps our visitor would be more comfortable standing beside the pumpkins for tonight’s festivities.” The Emperor considers this carefully. “BRILLIANT!
