What For A Ride

GO GREEN — Even the Hitchhikers Got the Memo
Apparently word has gotten around that GO GREEN is the theme at Maulsworld today, because even the hitchhikers showed up dressed appropriately. The American Diorama Green Shirt Hitchhiker Set brings a man and woman to your 1:18 scale world, ready to add some personality—and perhaps a little mystery—to that otherwise suspiciously empty roadside display. Put them alongside a classic car, muscle car, pickup or diorama scene and suddenly your collection has a story. Where are they going? How long have they been waiting? And why hasn’t anyone in your 1:18 collection stopped to pick them up? Honestly, miniature motorists can be very inconsiderate.
That’s what makes figures such a great addition to diecast displays: the cars may be the stars, but a couple of well-placed people can make the whole scene come alive. Of course, this particular pair creates another problem. Once somebody finally gives them a ride, you’re obviously going to need another 1:18 diecast for them to ride in. See how this works? Perfectly reasonable decisions at every stage. GO GREEN. Add some people. Buy another car. We’re absolutely encouraging the behavior. And unlike a certain chonky member of Maulsworld management, these two appear ready for work.
