Hire The Driver
More American Diorama…
Every Diecast Collection Needs a Driver
We’ve hired the photographer. We’ve hired the detail guy. The car is clean, the pictures have been taken, and now there’s just one tiny problem: somebody needs to drive the thing. Enter the Showcasts American Diorama Gentlemen’s Club Man in Black Suit (18803), a 1:18 scale figure standing approximately 3.75 inches tall and looking like the kind of guy who shouldn’t be handed the keys to anything slow. Dressed in a black suit and ready for action, he’s perfect alongside a classic muscle car, exotic, luxury ride, tuner or whatever prized 1:18 diecast in your collection has been sitting around waiting for somebody to finally take it out.
And this is where the whole operation starts coming together. The detail guy gets it ready. The photographer documents it. The gentleman in the black suit drives it. Suddenly your diecast shelf has employees, responsibilities and an organizational structure—which means we’re dangerously close to needing Human Resources. Fortunately, Middle Management Cat has already volunteered for the executive position where he can sleep through meetings, approve additional vehicle purchases and take credit for everyone’s work. Every diecast collection needs people. Every car needs a driver. And apparently every miniature company needs management. Maulsworld: We’re absolutely encouraging the behavior. 😎🏁🐱
