Double Trouble Is Arriving Next Week!

Apparently one Johnny Lightning wasn’t enough. So they’re putting two on the card. The Johnny Lightning 1:64 Twin Pack 2026 Release 1A is headed to Maulsworld and expected to arrive next week! Each factory-sealed case contains six twin packs—two each of three very different pairings. The CSR Racing Pack brings a 1996 Dodge Viper GTS in Viper Blue with dual white stripes alongside a 2005 Ford GT in Performance White with dual black stripes. The Import Heat Rally Pack pairs a 2004 Subaru WRX STI in black and yellow featuring NEW TOOLING with a 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution in teal, blue and grey. And for the old-school custom crowd, the Scrappin’ Pack delivers a 1958 Chevrolet Impala in Custom Metallic Green and Orange alongside a 1961 Chevrolet Impala in Custom Metallic Teal. Muscle, imports and customs all showed up to the same party. Perfectly reasonable decisions were made.

And, of course, there’s another reason opening these cases gets interesting: WHITE LIGHTNING HUNTING! Johnny Lightning’s White Lightning chase pieces are randomly inserted into cases, which means somebody somewhere is going to open a twin pack and suddenly have a considerably better afternoon than they were expecting. Will there be one hiding in the cases headed to Maulsworld? We won’t know until they arrive. That’s part of the fun. What we do know is that Twin Pack Release 1A is coming next week, and with two cars per blister, six different vehicles and a possible White Lightning lurking in the mix, this shipment may require immediate investigation upon arrival. Purely for quality-control purposes, naturally. 😎
